Drive through Estes Park on Hwy 36. Stay on Hwy 36, which takes a
left hand turn on the West side of Estes Park, which is also Elkhorn
Ave. Stay on Hwy 36 into the park. The vistor center will be on your
left. The park entrance where you pay the $20.00 per vehicle entrance
fee or purchase the Rocky Pass for $35.00 is just past the vistor
center. Once through the toll, take a left on Bear Lake Road. The
trailhead is at the end of Bear Lake Road.
